Bringing Out the Kid in You - Contest Announcement

One of the things I love most about my kids is that they tend to bring out the kid in me. I love to wrestle, joke and tease with my kids, and it always makes me feel younger to spend time playing with them.

As many of you know, my wife and I are about to bring another child into the world, so what better way to celebrate than to have a CONTEST!!!




There are two ways to enter the contest:

1. Write a blog post describing what kinds of things help to "bring out the kid" in you. It doesn't have to be your kids - you don't need to be a parent to feel young again - it can be anything that helps you feel like a kid: memories of childhood, going to the fair, certain foods or drinks, you get the idea. Provide a link back to this post in your entry, so that Technorati can pick it up and I can track it. Just to be safe, come back here and leave a comment with a link to your post too. It can be either a written, podcast or video entry!!!

2. If you don't have a blog, you can still enter by leaving a comment here with your story (you will need to leave an e-mail address though, i.e. johndoe at gmail dot com).

The contest will run from Monday, May 19, through Sunday, May 25, 2008. Winners will be announced on Monday, June 2, 2008, and the winning entry will be republished here on Discovering Dad with a link back to the winner's site, if applicable. Links will be published to all winning entries. The most creative and inspiring stories will be chosen as winners!
