Black Eye and She Isn't Even Born Yet

Ty loves to snuggle on the couch at night with Lori. He sprawls out like a little king of the castle. He puts his arms and legs any darn place he pleases. It doesn't matter to him that Lori is 33 weeks pregnant and has a big baby bump sticking up - it's still his space!

I feel bad for Lori because I'm sure all of the squirming, kicking and pushing on the belly only makes her have to pee more than usual, which has become every 20 minutes or so lately. She takes it like a trooper though, as she knows that we only have a few weeks left until baby Caitlin shares the snuggle space from the outside too.

Lori says that she can already tell that Caitlin loves Ty. She always perks up, kicks and punches when he's laying on her. I told her that it may not mean that she likes him - she may just be defending herself. Take a look at this picture, I mean she's not even born yet and she's already got a black eye from Ty pushing, kneeing and kicking the belly:

Can you believe it!?! I'm going to have to talk to Ty about being nice to his little sister; or, big sis Chani will have to help protect her from the little maniac! One thing that I'm sure of, though, is that Ty is going to be a good big brother when they get older. I already feel bad for the boys who try to date Caitlin - they will have to answer to Ty!

We had our last appointment with the specialist today, and everything looked great for Caitlin. The black eye is actually not real (like I had to tell you that) - it's like that because she has dropped significantly over the past two weeks, and her head is buried down between Lori's hips. There's not much fluid around her head, so it distorts the picture slightly.

Anyway, the doc said that Lori looked great, and everything seemed on track. Caitlin currently weighs about 4 pounds 12 ounces, and her estimated due date is still in June. The doc wouldn't make a prediction, but he said that we better get our shit together and pack a bag, just in case. Ty came a month early, and if Caitlin does the same, then we are getting down to the wire.

The only thing left for us to do now is....wait!
