One Decision Down, Thousands More to Go

It's only been 2 years since my wife Lori was pregnant with our son Ty, but I forgot how many decisions we had to make during the pregnancy. It's overwhelming, especially when you factor in all of the other things happening in life! We don't have a formal list of things to do, but it seems like we're starting to make progress.
We found out last month that we're going to have a little girl this summer (at least the doctor said he was ninety percent sure - it better be a girl because we already started buying stuff!). We decided on a name: Caitlin Arielle. Lori got to pick the name because we made a deal that if it was a girl, she could decide; if it was a boy, I could decide. I don't mind that Lori got to pick the name, and I think she did a wonderful job!
My daughter Chani is so excited about being a big sister. She's already talking about being the 'cool' big sis and taking her shopping when she gets older.
We also made a decision on her crib set and room design. Lori is normally not a pink person, but she really liked the Tiger Lily set by Kidsline.
The room is going to be painted a two-tone pink as well - a deep pink on bottom and a light pink on top. We're trying to make the process fun, but it's a little stressful getting so many things added to our 'things to do' list. I'll share a picture of the room here when it's all done!

Awesome! A little girl is on the way! Congrats!
Let's hope the doctor wasn't mistaken! We would be happy either way, but we're really excited about having a girl!
